I got the new rule book in the mail yesterday. I was happly surpized that the animal was addressed in the national classes and in the tech section. But I was disapionted that they published rules for the animal on methonal but will not be running them, but yet they have 2 classes under sportsman gas rules during the National championship. The two sportsman classes are only 10 pounds in differance and run on two differant days. Why did they deside not to run the methanol animal on one of them days? Also it seems sort of strange that you can run direct drive in Animal sportsman heavy@360lb. and not in animal sportsman@350lb.

Rod, it seems that nobody cares about the animal here, better go back to 4-cycle bbs.

Not that we don't care, it just doesn't make sence to me either, have no idea why they did it that way. Bob

One reason I posted it on this site is that it seams that THEY post on this site sometimes and thought THEY might have a reason they did it that way. Hech IKF doesn't even show up in the links section of BOBs site. I would think there advertizing money would be well spent and returned by advertizing on his site. O-Well At least IKF have set the same rules as WKA at this time, which may be in the right direction for karters. We will see.

Looks like an attempt to get two entries from one racer. Can you say profit?
