How much more are we paying for a WKA entry fee over the course of the year just to cover the fee's for renting the Daytona infield? Probably more than we think. Despite this I still I think its a big race for a reason, and shouldn't be changed if the entries aren't bad.
Unfortunately because of the rise in fuel prices there aren't as many drivers that can afford to run a series that travels such far distances, so I honestly think that entries wouldn't change if the event was any "Better". (Same costs, same drivers) I know some don't like the idea of not being on a permanent track, but I always liked the event because it removed the benefits of testing weeks in advance; leveling the playing field. _________________ Kyle Prokup Racing
