To all my Northeast shifter kart buddies (and everyone else in the country)...If you have not dealt with Phil Davis from CPI yet you should take a look. He is an East Coast dealer for OK1 and Praga...plus he has an extensive inventory for shifters..everything you need for your stock Honda and I hear he is building an inventory for ICC. His prices are great on everything you need for the track...tires, lubes, cables all the way up to chassis...he also builds one heck of a stock Honda for his customers! On top of that he is one of the nicest and most honest guys you will ever deal with. I see that he is now advertising on Ekarting news and has an online store for convenience. He is a fellow racer and for that I think we should patronize him. I hear he will be at NJMP for the big NEShifter final this weekend. If you are there stop by and say hello to him.

I can second what chris is saying about Phil Davis and CPI, he has run the roadrace series for the past couple years and has always tried to help karters. He is know branching it out to a business and trys to get too as many tracks as he can to provide trackside assistance with parts and knowledge. On the road race series we are very lucky to have both CPI karting and DRT Karting to help make the karting experience at the track a much more pleasant experience. If we do not help support the people that step up and make the big investment to carry parts as well as ther knowledge to the track then they will die out. So I think when ever possible we should support our local karters who step up to make it better for all of us. Thanks Phil....

Paul...CPI is a big supporter of shifter kart races. In fact he sponsored the Stock Honda1 WKC events and gave away a free set of mg yellows to the winner every race weekend this year. I think he will be a big presence in the NEShifter series for years to come

Thanks Chris and Mike,
I will be attending the event at NJMP this weekend.
The details for sponsorship for next year will have to be worked out; but I would like to be a part of NESKS.
The plans are to attend the NESKS events for 2013.
I have a calendar of events on my site that will be updated as the new schedules for 2013 are announced.
