You could e-mail him, he will custom make anything you want, or that is what I was told.
I like the top not being square, elbow smacker. Tuck it back as far away from your arm as you can. JMO. |

What radiator cap is that? Just ordered the same radiator from Ellis and need to purchase a cap. _________________ Tony Kart Krypton/MY09 Leopard |

| It's made to use a standard automotive radiator cap. Murray brand #7616 cap for the Chevy Silverado series fits right on. Personally, I don't recommend using caps with a pressure release. |

I run the overflow line to the Bling can. It can also be used to hold mix drinks. |

What size is that radiator?
I would like to see pictures of what an 8x14 looks like on a kart verus a 10x16 from the radiator side. I have a feeling that the 16" radi would be too high and make me feel cramped. |

I believe it is a single core (or rather I was told so by them)
I am just wondering it is it better to get a smalled rac with 2 cores, or a 10x16 single. My MAIN concern is hitting the radiator with my elbow.
Can someone please offer some feedback in that regard
I also wonder if a 10" wide radiator will fit with a NA2 side pod installed. |

a double core should give close to 50% more cooling that a similar sized single core...
You basically want the smallest radiator that will keep your engine cool....

makes sense, I was just talking to someone who brought up a good point. It makes sense but I want to confirm.
They have a 3 core 8x14, however I was told that for a small track with short straights a 2 core will not cool as well as a single core because I guess you need more air going though 2 cores than you need for 1 core to cool?
At the same time, it does not make sense in the fact that air will run thought the cores the same...
If I can find a 8x10 3 core would I be okay in most cases? I am starting to realize the trend may be to have more than one rad ?
Also, where can I find some side fins for a rad? (who makes this part) I was looking at the KG radiator that SharkShifter sells (1000.00 for a rad is a little too much of an investment for me right now) |
