EKN Trackside: Sunday Update
Good morning everyone. It's race day here in New Castle as the final practice laps are going into the books for 2012 RoboPong 200. This year is going to be a challenge, as the competition is fierce, and the weather may throw everyone the curve ball.
Right now, temps are comfortable, but the wind is coming in from the south really fast, which could make teams want to change gearing for the race. The other factor, precip... There is a good chance it may hit right before the race, and then later on. We'll keep updates going on that as the day moves on.
The Yamaha Junior category will kick off the action with their 30-lap feature for $5,000 at 9:45am with Yamaha Sportsman to follow at 10:45am for their 30-lap, $5k feature race. The RoboPong 200 is set to start at 1pm.
Review yesterday's action with our report and view our traditional photo grid: http://www.ekartingnews.com/news_info.php?n=21093 _________________ David Cole

Congrats to Bandon Lemke and his Dad Bill on a great win. Hugely deserved by a team that works its backside off every day to get better. _________________ Mark Peters
