Lubing Heim joints?

do you guys lube the heim joints? i just replace the tie rods & heim joints and started to pack them with grease which didn't seem to work. I googled heim joint lube and found that most racers don't lube them because it attracts dirt.

Don't lube them. High quality joint have very little friction to begin with. Living attracts dirt which will cause friction as well as wear then out and cause a loose or knocking system.

It is the same racing desert trucks here in the southwest.

thanks.. just wanted to verify. i tried to clean the grease out of the 2 i started to lube. maybe i'll shoot them with brake cleaner.
