yea, i know this is a loaded question but i want to get racers opinions and experiences with their chassis.
right now i have an '08 CRG road rebel/stock honda/ven05 brakes. i really like it a lot but it's the only kart i've owned so i don't know any better.
i'm thinking of upgrading mostly because its getting ugly, needs powder coat and other cosmetic stuff so i thought i'd sell this one instead of dumping time and money into it. otherwise it seems to handle really good.
so.. what's your favorite chassis? model and year
thanks |

Your going to have a hard time finding something that will handle better than the 08 Road Rebel. That was prob crg's best year.
I got back on a 08 at the end of last year and that's what ive been on this year. It turns in real nice and has a great balance
I've been testing a 12 for a couple weeks now, it's a lot different, good, but different. |

i guess that's good.. on the other hand i my lap times might be as good as it gets. no majic chassis that's going to shave a couple seconds off my lap times |

Ryan hit on the most imortant answer: Buy something with local support , preferably race day support.
As a filter, see what the fast guys in your area are driving.
I have a Road Rebel --- It is way better than me! |

I believe the GP 10 is based or is a CRG Kali, which has a slimmer waist line than the Road Rebel.. |

not to many shifters overall here and it seems like they're all made by different manufactures. we have 2 kart shops 1 is CRG and the other is Swiss Hutless.
i might just stick with the CRG, paint it up all pretty and replace worn/crappy parts |
