not super familair with KT-100's but When I was helping my buddy put his new to him kart together I noticed the 3 hole air box did not have any filter inside.
That has just got to be a problem. Is it missing or not designed to have one. _________________ Arrow AX-8/ Rotax Sr. |

It's designed to have a filter inside the air box.
Some people remove them because they like to suck crap into their engine so they can complain about the high maintenance cost on kart engines. |

Yea that's what I figured. I'll have to look for a replacement for the box or else go with the K&N style as the local series rules don't define. _________________ Arrow AX-8/ Rotax Sr. |

If you want to get in line with WKA rules it needs to be a two hole air box. Internal filter is highly recommended for engine life. K&N filter would be louder so you might want ear plugs if using one also you can't choke it down if the throttle sticks.
