Welcome one and all to the Formula One Podium Picker Challenge Presented by EKartingNews and a big box of SillySeasonFlakes - the cereal that tastes just like a cowpie. This week's race, the Korean Grand Prix. The three year old track at Yeongam is an 18 turn circuit with wacky pit entrance and exit zones that many drivers feel like are too dangerous. We'll see if Grosjean can keep his nose out of someone's backside...

New picks in by 10pm PDT Friday night - thanks!

*******************
Point totals following the Japanese Grand Prix. Big congratulations to Jim Derrig for taking first place in the Challenge and also a big bonus cookie filled with good luck for the X30 race in France coming up in two weeks! We're all pulling for ya - keep us posted if you can.

*******************
Edit 1: Yes, Mike, you caught me red handed making a big mistake and not giving you the credit you so rightly deserve. Lord Helmet, you too have achieved parity with the leaders in the podium picker challenge. Well Done!

Okay, no luck for a repeat Supernats appearance since that's the same weekend as the USGP. Maybe next year?

Here's hoping. They should delay the supernats to after thanksgiving so that we could put the F1 boys, the Indy boys, and the NASCAR boys all on the same track in karts. Would that be awesome or what?

Hamilton
Vettel
Alonso

Dude Vettel was Jim's 2nd place pick for Japan Shocked Shocked Shocked

With all of that shouting, first place must be a new experience for you Mike? Enjoy the week, 'cause your ride on top ends Saturday. Evil or Very Mad

Vettel
Button
Alonzo

edit: Hmmm I posted the above before realizing Mike has the same picks I do. Guess he's going to get a second week on top after all. Wink

Thanks, but I'm so pitifully outclassed in that field I might as well be driving Korea in an HRT. My entire strategy consists of tying my nose cone to my teammate's rear bumper and hoping the rope doesn't break.

1) Vettel
2) Webber
3) Button

BTW, I've always liked Massa, but I don't think he's been the same since getting smacked in the head by that spring.

Sorry, guys, as much as I like him, Webber's going to qualify well, get a horrendous start and spend the whole race trying to get through the field to get the best points finish he can.
