Been watching youtube racing videos and gopro uploads etc and I've noticed on some there appears to be live time telemetry. How or what does one do to achieve that?
Thanks

You can try RaceRender for free. If you have data from your MyChron already I'd recommend giving it a go.

Wow the price of the smarty cam is just a little out of reach for me especially for just playing around!

Yeah the smartycams are a bit spendy. But if you already have a camera and a mychron you can do the data overlay with racerender for $40.

I would go the route you're going, as a matter of fact I just ordered a GoPro, but the Smarty Cam comes with a GPS and an accelerometer, if you added a GPS, Gold Expansion, and the Gopro to your Mychron system, what would that set you back???

I was refering to not needing all the expansion stuff...
Ok how about this
Mychron $375 most have already
Data key $99
Gps head $400
RaceStudio free
RaceRender $25

No need to search

I would imagine you can do it without the gps but you would only get rpms and temps and syncing it would be a little harder.

Has anyone done this with a Mychron 3 Gold? No GPS, but it has an accelerometer with track mapping. Just wondering.

Tim I have a 3 Gold, shouldn't be a problem.

Matt, you also forgot to add $250 for the Gopro...

Do you have any videos with the data from the gauge overlayed? I would love to see some examples. I just love the way this gauge looks Laughing
