He's def not doing Daytona. Has to work. I can see my/his Honda running with the ICCs there if we went to PI and revved the thing to 13k+, but we both run stock 99 ignitions, and only turn 12.2k the help them live longer. I think if you were still running 30mm carb and stuff he'd have something for you at Daytona, but as-is... I think you have the top-end advantage. I've been wanting to put together a f125 for myself for awhile now... Looking for a good roller.... Laughing

I have a laydown chassis in my garage you could have for cheap. It was set up to run a honda on it too. It has a custom engine mount to move the honda further in to give you more room to put the pipe on. Can include the pipe that was fitted for the kart too. The body work was done by Lawson. The nose is a little beat up but I'm sure he could pull a new one for you.

No Daytona. Just doesn't work out with christmas and the kids.

Ovals aren't my favorite either. MIS is only 2.5 hours away so something that close is hard to pass up. Daytona is 17 hrs. Plus my kart doesn't have the top speed. We are trying to work on that but it won't happen before Daytona.

I really like the F125s. Saw a few at Summit Point in early September and they were fast as heck.

Eventually want to move from Tag into a shifter...may be a fun option!

Got the practice video up here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdLOUsTi9QQ&feature=youtu.be

It's the old school GoPro, almost like watching old VHS tapes! It took a long time to load today, the race video was being loaded when I left work. It's HD and was taking 45 minutes to get 21% so not sure what happen with it yet.

Becareful with the young ones around, I may have dropped an F bomb at the end! Was not happy with the the approach to the road course entrance and actually blew threw it once.

Funny looking back at it, watching myself experiment with different shift points and gear selection. One lap, rentering the oval, I ran a higher gear to see if the bumps upsetting the car would help the revs come up!

I guess the race footage didn't load. I'll have them chop out 5-7 minutes and try it again.

It didn't record the entire race unfortunately. First time using this brand (vio?) and it had a 4gig card in it. Had I erased the test video from the indoor place it would have fit.

Stevo, check your PM's.

Nick got a 5 minute clip of race footage up this morning.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pPO3dxwziI&feature=youtu.be

This is more in line with how the track really is and exactly what I was seeing. Compared to the non HD Go Pro it's night and day different.

Watching the video I was curious about the walls around the track in the infield section.

What material were they made of? Are those the plastic ones?

The one sharp left corner looked like it may have potential for concern if there was problem. Was there plenty of room around this section to avoid any safety issues?

It just hard to see from the video so I wanted to ask here.

I am already saving the date for this race and hope to see a Barber race announcement soon along with the WKA dates.

Robert. Did I see your gauge right? Were you hitting 149MPH at the end of the straight?

The top 3 finishers passed the leader #47 under a YELLOW FLAG in turn one.
Go to 28:25 on The CIK 125 Sat. Race Video an see.
It was a great race no matter what.
