Yes, about time this news surfaces. My flights are already booked then going to the SEMA show in Vegas the following week.
I know Bernie will be away for a few days that's why the announcement when he returns, thanks for giving us a heads up Chris.
Nola Motorsports Park is a first class facility with the track manager very friendly biased toward karters.
Will be a great event for sure. _________________ www.samzavaglia.com |

My buddy is on a plane right now to NOLA to watch the AMA race this weekend. Love the people out there, love the food even more. Hope the track has a dedicated Gumbo chef. Ahhh New Orleans, the reason I went from being 130lbs to 165lbs in less than 15 months.
The big track and the kart track look great:

| track looks like high quality. Although, whoever decided the layout, didnt put that much thought into it. It would be nice to utilize that long stretch but that means you only use one side of the track. regardless, u guys are working on some good stuff. |

The cost was in excess of $34m. They put thought, a lot of thought into it. Hopefully organizers will get a long track venue for karting before too long. It's as you may notice very fast no matter how it is configured. Both configurations have nearly a 5000' straightaway. AMA superbike are there this weekend and you'll eventually get comments from there experiences on the net. _________________ Bobby Butler......."GO BOY GO" RACING, HOUMA, LOUISIANA
