|
|
My temp 1 isn't working. Temp2 works fine, and I can swap my sensors between Temp1 and Temp2 and the problem stays with the box, it's not the sensor.
So I pulled apart the Mychron 3 box and found that the female connector for Temp1 had completely broken off the circuit board. I managed to reattach the leads with some solder, but I doubt it will hold for long.
Does anyone know the name or brand or model of that style connector and where I can source one?

| They are Binder connectors. The screw type are 712 and the click type are 719 |

Because I can do the repair in 20 minutes versus 10 days of down time waiting on shipping to/from Mychron.

Not if you don't have the connector. _________________ A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on. -- Winston Churchill. |

Thanks to you I found the one AIM used. My repair is working, but it will be nice to have the part handy if my repair work fails.

The last time I got some of those connectors, I got them directly from AIM, they were cheaper.
Most likely the connector won't do you any good, usually the trace pulls off the board.....
