Are you leaning toward a street race ala RIGP and Streets of Lancaster or a longer version like you had at Fair Park?

Lockhart is a beautiful part of the state!

On my 2013 calendar, March 3-4 is a Sunday-Monday.

The course will be about 1/2 mile long with a chicane, hair pin and a fast carousel. We liked the long fast course at LSGP 2012 but that is just not an option for most street races. Given what was ultimately delivered on paving last March we had no choice but to move the race.

Lockhart is a great town and the city is very supportive of the race. The BBQ here is amazing. There are discussions of a BBQ or Chili Cookoff and some other festival stuff.

Lockhart is 20 miles from the Austin airport and 19 miles from The Circuit of the Americas.

Friday will be move in only. Pit space will be a challenge like it is in all historic downtown races.

The format for LSGP 2013 will be very similar to LSGP 2012.

You are right about the dates.

The race is Saturday and Sunday (March 2 & 3) with move in on Friday the 1st.

Discounted early entry will open 10.1.12. As it did last year the entry fee will escalate as we get closer to the race. Class sponsorships and other partner opportunities will be available soon.
Spec fuel will be MS 98 or C12 at your option. Racers are not required to purchase it from LSGP this year but some will be available through our vendors.
The website will be updated within the next couple of weeks.

The team voted this week to add Junior Stock Moto.
Should be a very good class.

11.01.12-11.30.12 $125 per class
12.01.12-12.31.12 $150 per class
1.01.13-1.31.13 $175 per class
2.01.13-2.15.13 $200 per class
2.16.13-3.02.13 $250 per class
Pit passes will be available for purchase on 3.1.13
