This weekend is the fourth edition of the Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix. Superkarts! USA and the City of Lancaster combine to bring the karting community the top street race on the west coast. The event will also close out the California ProKart Challenge series, with the events counting for the six round of the championship (best five of six title chase).

eKartingNews.com will be providing Trackside Live coverage throughout the weekend. Live audio from EKN's Rob Howden and live timing provided by Race-Monitor.com can be viewed at the www.ekartingnews.com/live . Also watch for update here and on the EKN Facebook and Twitter accounts, along with daily reports on the front page.

Post your comments and questions here this week and during the event.

With David Cole already in the air bound for LAX, I'm getting ready to board myself for what is now one of my favorite races of the year. The Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix is an incredible venue and is supported by a great group from the City, and I can't wait to see what they've got in store for us this year.

The race is going to be big, as SKUSA is rolling with over 120 pre-entries, which is a great number that shows growth from last year. Anytime we can see growth in our sport, I'm stoked.

This will be David's first trip to Lancaster, as he's coming to produce our EKN Live broadcast of the race. We'll be streaming live audio from Saturday qualifying all the way through to the Sunday main events, which are expected to be very exciting. I do want to take this opportunity to thank our broadcast partners, beginning with our Presenting Sponsor, Robby Mott and Ribtect. We're also lucky to have HPD / Honda Performance Development, Acceleration Karting, Courtney Concepts and Kartsport North America on-board. We still have a couple positions available if anyone would like to be part of the action. Just fire me off an e-mail or a PM and we'll get it put together.

Here are links to our current broadcast partners:

Acceleration Karting - www.accelerationkarting.com
Courtney Concepts - www.courtneyconcepts.com
Kartsport North America - www.kartsportna.com
DRT Racing - www.drt-racing.com

The event organizers have a ton of stuff in store for us, in addition to the racing, and we'll do our best to provide reports, updates and images from all the events.

Stay tuned!

Thanks Taylor. Looking forward to a fun and safe weekend. Lots of extra stuff for the racers, which is cool.

I do want to mention that we just added DRT Racing as a partner for the EKN Live broadcast. Big thanks to Don Guilbeault and his crew at DRT, importers and racers of the DR Kart! They've been doing a bunch of winning on the WKA National Road Race Series on the DR Kart, and have been strong in so many other events as well, both street racing and sprint racing. They're big supporters of EKN and we're pleased to have them on-board.

You can check them out @ www.drt-racing.com
