| what changes from mounting a 7.10 tire on a standard width wheel, compared to a wider say an 1 1/2" wheel. I know the sidewall stretches but what changes will i feel? |

It sounds like with a tire designed for a smaller wheel, the sidewalls would be pulled out where it meets the wheel. This should make it so the tire doesn't want to move laterally under the wheel while cornering as much, so I'd predict (if you can get it to stay mounted on the wheel) that it would be a little less predictable at the limit, and would break traction more suddenly. Probably a little more responsive because of this too. I can't say i've tried your idea, but i think it's a safe bet that the tires will be fastest on regular size wheels _________________ Nowysz Racing #6
