Thanks for the encouraging words guys. I already bought one kart, it's an older PCR Jaguar 2000 w/ a KT. It's fast and decent to learn on.

I'm buying a 2008 Margay this weekend and plan to put a clone on it for my wife to putt around on while I'm working on my stuff.

I figure eventually, after I gain some knowledge and skills, I'll find the perfect kart for me. I may be racing this weekend already...or not... depending on what the consensus of the guys at the track is regarding my readiness. Wish me luck

Hey Bob,

Put that KT on the Margay and the clone on the PCR. I think that might be your better combination.

Look at the cross bar behind the seat and see if the chain will fit. Some use a jackshaft to adapt the clone to a two stroke kart to get an outboard drive.

Gif Cool

Alright....I've got the KT on the Margay, but taking it for a spin will have to wait until I get a NEW solenoid for my brand NEW Coleman starter. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for the clone engine from Roberts kart, which should be here Wednesday. I'm hoping to have two complete karts ready to run this weekend (yeah right)
