Ray,

From those I spoke to at the last race and who have contacted me by PM or e-mail, 10 as of now. Pretty sure there will be more Leopards from our area that will race once they get there. I know one would if there are entries. She would love to defend her 4 2011 championships!! Smile

No reason anyone can't be there!!!!! Have a place for 99.999999% of road racers across the USA. COME ON RACERS, you won't be disapointed.

We have others from the East & West planning to attend also. Got a feeling since it is in October (cooler) and no other major races happening at the same time, this could be an event NO ONE wants to miss.

If you are worried about a new track and having enough practice time, DON'T!!!!! Between the paid practice on Friday (9-3:30) and Sat/Sun. having 2+ hours each day of practice, you will be A-OK. KART runs open practice till it starts to get crowded and then we normally just go to 2 groups. Never had issues so track time will not be a issue for anyone.

Just be prepared for the FEAST (BBQ) and awards (Friday and Saturday classes) on Saturday evening following the races that MARRS sponsors. I have confirmed that we will have entertainment by the lead singer of the HAYWIRED band for Saturday night following the feast & awards so, be ready for a great weekend.

For those who maybe interested in renting a garage at HPT. The garages are 16 X 34, $100.00.

There is fuel available at HPT. Before purchasing any, be sure we have tested it. There is one fuel that does not past tech. I believe there fuel is Sunoco.

Is that price per day or the weekend?

Just spoke with Brian at HPT. It is $100 PER DAY. The lady I spoke to misunderstood.

No need to call ahead of time. They will get with whoever wants a garage at the time of the event. The garages have air & electrical.

You won't need a garage anyway, gonna be nice and cool Very Happy

Just be sure to bring weights to tie awnings down. NO driving stakes into pavement.

Entry forms and event schedule are now posted on the KART web site (www.kart.org).

FYI,
There are TWO entry forms, 1 for the USSK and 1 for all others. Be sure to fill the right one out.
