Ray,
Look for my post after 8/5. I will be talking to all the KART/MARRS racers at the Garnett event to see what interest I have for a TAG Sr..
Jerry,
You know we would love to have your DAD at HPT!!!!!
As you know, KART did away with there class like the WKA sprint a few years back. As for a SPRINTER with a P.P. motor, the only classes we have are: SPRINT YAMAHA CIK & YAMAHA 4 - HOLE CAN. In the can class, laydowns at 360#, sprinter/full body at 345# & sprinter/CIK body at 325# all on Yamahas and 4 hole can, ages 12-up.
NOW, if you could PROMISE me that at least 5 would show, I would add a SPRINT P.P. class.
Haven't you hit 40 yet??? I can always put you in "THE MAN" animal!!!!!!

Here's an idea Jerry. . . put that beast on a laydown and show us what'ch ya got! I sure do miss you and bringing back the good ol' days would be a lot of fun! Keep sweet talking dad and he just might put the old multi-national championship chassis back together for you! |

LOL . . I'm not looking for a class to win a trophy . . already done that twice over
Just trying to see if I made the 9.5 hour trek . . if I would be able to get on track and run. Doesn't look like I will make any WKA Nationals sooooo thought about checking you guys out.
As for a laydown . . probably not gonna happen.
I miss our battles as well.
Take care |

I went to the KART page to look for some info on class structure/race format but the rule and tech link is password protected. I have emailed the contact address for the info but no reply yet. I just want to see if there is a place for me to race if I can make the trip. With the SWRA hiatus I would love to attend a road race and although it isn't the closest I thought it might be cool.
I have a Stock Honda, legal to SKUSA or SWRA, not sure if it's even a class in KART but maybe I can race somewhere. |

Jerry,
Would be great to see you at HPT. Has been some years since we raced together and yes great times.
You will not find a better group of folks to race with than KART.
Run in the Yam CIK class - my dad is racing this class and not traveling much less than you would be.

Mike,
Yes I truly enjoyed racing with them a few years ago. Felt very welcomed . . that is until I won (J/k). The amount of track time provided was insane. I wore out my tires during friday practice. Was all set to return to defend my crowns but my class got axed due to kart count. So since I don't / won't be getting an enduro nor do I have a can set up anymore, I haven't been able to return to HPT. I enjoyed the track and have always wanted to go back.
Since I'm sitting out on WKA this year, I thought I would make the trek (even if I'm not trying to win a class per se) if I would have a place to run.
It would be great to see you and everyone associated with the KART org again.
We will see what happens. |

Friday Yamaha Hvy class has 11 drivers commited to run. So if you want to run with a bunch of laydowns come run this race. If anyone in South Caralina is interested I know of a kart a driver making the trip, y'all may be able to team up and split travel costs! _________________ OVER THE HILL OUTLAW |

Jim and Brad,
Kart has a SPRINT 125 SHIFTER class that runs both days. Each day is a separate race (I, II, 2 sets of awards). Each race is a 30 minute race (no heats). From the USKGP event at HPT in 2011, STOCK HONDA was faster then our shifter class.
Jerry,
You can always run your SPRINTER in the Piston Port class!!! Weight for a Comer is 410#. We have extra headers & HPV pipes we would loan you. A 7 Qt. tank has enough fuel (unless you still run that HOT stuff ) Your best bet would be to stay away from classes Lindsay races. She kicked A$$ at Barber. Some reason she comes alive at the big races!!
Come on but, be sure pops comes!!!!!! I will put him in the Animal!!
As far as classes, rules for KART, have a question, PM or e-mail me (donnaandkelly@hotmail.com)

| Thanks Kelly. I got some info from Maysha earlier today. Might start seeing if I can find a travel partner. What do you have for an 80? |

Brad,
As for a 80cc SHIFTER, we have SPRINT 80cc SHIFTER that runs once and that is on Saturday but, at the same time as the 125 runs. |

Just confirmed. USSK (SUPER KARTS) will be attending HPT.
If interested in running with them, let me know so I can pass it onto Johnny West who is there man behind the scenes. Have questions, ask me by PM or e-mail (donnaandkelly@hotmail.com). They will be running a qualifier at end of practice on Friday, pre-final on Saturday & final on Sunday.
FYI,
KART does have a UNLIMITED class that will be running on Sunday that has 250 twin and single, duals, 125 G.B., etc at different weights.
Here is your chance to run for 2 TRIADS!!!!
