I posted this in the TAG section hoping to get an answer but after 120 Views no replies. So if anyone on the autocross section that Might be running a 125 non -shifter TAG kart has and Ideas on what to try for lube I would appreciate it.

I am in need of a solution or ideas on the problem I am Having. I sourced a 10T front drive gear for my Vortex ROK engine. Anything below a 12T does not have a needle bearing so it is shaft to sproket. After a few runs of Autocross it starts to bind on the shaft. I have tried a few different types of lubercation but with the same results. Is this a common problem to have to keep lubercating the sprocket. I am not sure how it would be on a sprint track if I am having this issue after only 4 miniuts of run time. Any ideas or information people can provide is appreciated.

Also consider if you have not already, contacting Comet Kart sales. They sell ROK parts including the 10 and 11T and might have some ideas to support that.

If I understand your question correctly, I would put some copper anti-seize between the sprocket and shaft. Dont go overboard with the stuff, as a little goes a long way.
