I posted this in the TAG section hoping to get an answer but after 120 Views no replies. So if anyone on the autocross section that Might be running a 125 non -shifter TAG kart has and Ideas on what to try for lube I would appreciate it.
I am in need of a solution or ideas on the problem I am Having. I sourced a 10T front drive gear for my Vortex ROK engine. Anything below a 12T does not have a needle bearing so it is shaft to sproket. After a few runs of Autocross it starts to bind on the shaft. I have tried a few different types of lubercation but with the same results. Is this a common problem to have to keep lubercating the sprocket. I am not sure how it would be on a sprint track if I am having this issue after only 4 miniuts of run time. Any ideas or information people can provide is appreciated. |

| Also consider if you have not already, contacting Comet Kart sales. They sell ROK parts including the 10 and 11T and might have some ideas to support that. |

If I understand your question correctly, I would put some copper anti-seize between the sprocket and shaft. Dont go overboard with the stuff, as a little goes a long way. _________________ Bill Schmidt
