Been speaking with the management of Talledega Gran Prix about setting up an open track day for karts, like they currently have for motorcycles. The track day would be limited to 30 karts, with the on track sessions between 9 am -12 & 1pm - 5pm. The karts will be broken up into groups, most likely shifters/super karts/lay downs & then one or two other groups depending upon interest/participation. There will be no timing or tech inspection, this is an open practice track day. There has not been a date set for this yet and if possible would be scheduled so it does not conflict with any other sanctioned road race weekend. At this time, just trying to get an idea of how many people would be interested. _________________ KEEP WORKING....millions of people on welfare depend on you !! |
