| Wow.. It was great to see the group together again. A little warm as far as the weather but everyone had a great time. Racing and seeing everyone was great. Everybody had the usual problems from not racing for so long. Good weekend and looking forward to the next in New Orleans in October. |

Thanks to Robby and all the other helpers who made this event happen. The event staff from Zoom and the track were great all week end and made us all feel really welcome at this fine facility. If you missed this you won't want to make that mistake again.
Finally. although he probably won't see this thanks to George Barber for having the vision, forsight and resources to make such a world class facility a reality. We will be making a return trip, just for the museum! _________________ Australian American Racing

I must agree ... Thanks to Robbie and his team it was AWESOME to be back at Barber and to see a good get together of 250's...It was really HOT all weekend and attrition was high with cars having all kinds of issues from Johnny's electrical issues to me having a bad luck weekend , Ardy Breaking, Jayce breaking a seatmount during the heat of battle with Andy , Jim Brannons no spark drama, Bobby's clutch going out...i can go on and on ....whew. !!!
A very special thanks to Johnny and Joey West who helped me selflessly all weekend long , Darryl and Taylor Bertram and even a bigger thanks to Scotty Fiesler who let me drive his Anderson GasGas and then i went and broke the darn thing.. " Jeeeze i still don't believe i squeeeezed into that small seat ".
SORRY BRO !!
I was really good to see some old friends and a few new faces..
Thanks again !!! _________________ Zanardi/ TM K-9 C 125cc shifter

For many years , each and every time that I have attended a race put on by THE BIG SOUTH , Robbie Harper and crew, I always come away knowing that this was a great event. One question though... How does a guy with a pink bra and that much tolet paper wrapped around his pit area,,, who throws whip cream on his friends, ever get people to return to his events??? It is simple... They do the best races in the country, at the best tracks, with the best people... I alway want to see what else they can come up with.
It was so good to see all of my friends .. Thanks for all the help from all of you. Friends helping friends . Even in 110 degree heat, What could be better?????

Many thanks to Robbie and the Barber Motorsports track people. They made you feel welcome. Looking forward to the next Barber event.
It was nice to the group get together again. I was bummed the ign box went bad. So I decided to watch my son Joey race. You did a good job Joey. You and Arnold had a good run going. It was fun to watch.
Jeff, I hope your luck is better next time. _________________ Johnny West/West Racing |

Thanks to Robby for a flawless race organization. Thanks to Mr. Barber for the in my opinion best race track and motorcycle museum I know in the US and Europe. Thanks to all the racers as this was a truly enjoyable race weekend and it was good to see lots of friends.
I am looking forward to this race next year and am glad that the track will have us back. Thanks to all the track workers and people that make this weekend possible and especially Scotty in corner #4.

Andy won overall, had a great race with Jayce going before Jayce's seat mount pulled thru the seat and he couldn't shift he ended up 2nd, I think Frank took 3rd overall but I couldn't swear to it.
The only pit Gremlins didn't attack this weekend was Andy's. Everyone else had some strange issue plague them.
I think he bribes them with Patron... |
