Hi, could I get some guide lines on water temps and exhaust too, what is normal and max for both for a 2002 CR250.

Depending on the ambient temp - we have been able to keep the water around 125 - 140 - you want to stay under 150.
EGT we shoot for the mid 1100 area. 1200 and up is not good. This also has some dependence on probe location which we install about 4 inches from the face of the cylinder where the header flange mounts (outside face, not attempting to measure to the piston face. |
