I tried to hyperlink this address:

Since the above address actually has Parentheses in it where I placed the *'s. This forum will will not accept it.
Is this a bug or safety feature?

Thanks for the suggestion however I can not change the file name. The page I am trying to link is not mine.
My question is why parentheses are not allowed in html hyperlinkson this forum?
