Photo's. A good idea....

Glenn and the rest of the crew, what DO you think about the photo area? I was reading in another subject that was talking about this but if there was a way (just moderating I guess)to keep photo's in a specific forum entitled 'Karting Photos' (or whatever), I persoanly think it would be a GREAT thing. In this day and age of the internet, the multimedia experience is what we've all come to expect

And to keep the system from doing a bog down, maybe have the system flush out photos, anything past say like 30 days or something.....

I think it would be a good thing. Besides, everyone likes to look at pictures ya know

So wether it could be used for someone to post a pic or two from a race he or she was just at, a pic of a rotor that has a crack in it, or someone that took a digital shot of the top of his piston and posted it looking for help, I feel that would be a HUGE tool to have, as long as it doesnt get abused.

And quit frankly, if it gets abused (flooding,inapropriate pics etc,etc) he/she gets a warning, if it happens again, they get the sweet smell of boot leather on there a**.

IMHO I think it woould be a great "tool" to have.

The new home looks ROCKIN' though!

Tony I agree, Maybe take it a step further and get photo's from a race that is in progress or just happend. Not real time but close.

Exactly Darin. Because of the time it takes to put together a article on a race thats in progress, with photos etc. it would be sweet to see pics of a race in progress. For example I could shoot dig pics of the ProMoto race here in my hometown (Canby), U/L the pics in a determined size set by the rules of the Photo section, and people could see whats going on at the day of the event. CART.com has these 'update' photos as well

We couldn't agree more. EKN will be debuting a new dedicated photo gallery section within the very near future.
