Yep, The red Bug Stinger has a Komet K88 with Monza A pipe and Hartman clutch with the starter pulley. Adds a little "diversity" to the garage LOL

The Hartman enduro is undergoing major repairs to the front axle, hope to finish it this year.

Steve Ohara, Fabulous collection, love the twin rear engine Macs. If you lose interest in the Hartman Enduro let me know, just like I told Scott Sigafoos I'll gladly take it off your hands. (Not holding my breath)

Greg, My wife would divorce me she said if I sold the Hartman enduro. It was the first road trip her and I had picking up a kart. I bought the kart from Budde Wolfe, who bought it from Kathey Hartman. I was told by Budde he bought it at the 75 nationals at Road Atlanta. Kathey won the 125cc Mac class there. He ran it for a few years and it sat in his garage until I bought it.

Always loved the photos used in the NKN chassis guide years ago.

Those Hartman enduros were the finest crafted karts ever made. Wish I still had the one that I had in the 70s. Sad

I don't think I have ever seen a Margay Bandito... what year did that chassis come out?
Beautiful equipment!

Steve,
According to the numbers on the spindle yoke, it appears to be an 80. This kart has the 1" axle, it is my understanding that Margay put 1" axles in the early run of the Bandito and later went to 1.250" axles. I also read from an advertisement that the Bandito had a little more ground clearance built in for use on dirt tracks.
We've run it as a situp enduro kart with no problems. I've never tried it on sprint tracks.
