| If the Finkes are truly renting or managing partners of Mrp then they would have the power to change the schedule, 10 club races are pretty lite and if they are managing partners why take their people to the Rolling Green race track that is negelected and run down and has a very small turn out, no reason to take a race there if you have a better track, (unless someone has a greater influance). It seems as the Finkes have paid for their new job as track managers at Mrp and good luck with that. Things just dont add up |

Hey Marty-
There are a couple Finke's involved here. Les Finke is my father, and owns CHMS. For the past 6 years, he leased it to me. Actually, I guess he leased CHMS to JET Karting, which I own. Les has chosen to operate it himself rather than renew a lease with us.
Once my wife and I were looking for a new home, we called several people who could help us find a new place. One of three great opportunities that were offered was to take over Michiana for Garry. This felt like the best fit for my family and I, so we accepted the offer and signed a lease with Garry.
We do have the power to change the schedule. However, consider that this schedule already hosts 4 national events, 2 regional events, 10 club level events, along with a thriving schedule of rental outings & driver academies. Kris and I feel this is a VERY aggressive summer already. We do expect to have a couple more club events in future years.
We are working hard to bring local participation up this season. I believe we have proven our ability to do that, and look forward to making a difference at Michiana. Follow along on the web or Facebook, talk with us at the Chicago Auto Show, or just give us a call. We'd love to hear from you as we continue to combine the best of JET's strength with the momentum MRP created.

Hello, I would like to introduce myself as the new track manager at CHMS. My name is Greg Rowlee, I have been the track flagman for a number of years and have worked in other capacities at the track off and on since it was first built as a dirt oval. This season already looks quite promising in terms of our schedule, support, and inception of the new LO206 class. We have a good start on our website (concepthaulersmotorspeedway.com), a Facebook page, and word has already spread of our catchy new phone number (815-496-CHMS). Expect news to come on the site concerning the pro shop. We are interested in leasing out this golden opportunity, but will staff the shop even if that does not happen. As far as brands offered, that is yet to be determined. We hope to see you all soon, Greg.
