It's that time of year, time for the SKUSA SuperNationals. The 15th edition will take place November 16-20 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. From now until then, EKN will be producing official previews. Once trackside, the industry-leading coverage will begin with plenty of updates here in the official thread, through the EKN Trackside Live page and the EKN Event Page.

Ther best of luck to all the drivers and teams, this year is the first Supernats I will have not gone to. Thanks to EKN I will be taking my computer to Maui to keep up on all the updates and live action.

On the way in today they were delivering water barrier and there was some forklift traffic.
On edit: There are a fair amount of barriers and several forks and powered pallet jacks but it looks like some sort of material handling contest/rodeo. I tried to Twit some pics but they haven't landed yet. Maybe this week is the Supernats of fork trucks, I don't know...

The date is the 19th. They were just here last Sat night. At least that will give the grandparents (G1 and S4) something to do... 
For the younger set there is Yellowcard at The Hard Rock Cafe on The Strip (not the resort) on Weds night and New Found Glory on Sat, same venue.
Some other shows the G1 or S4 guys and their wifes might like are Barry Manilow at Paris or David Hasselhoff at The Orleans, Blue Oyster Cult at Boulder Station, Jay Leno at The Mirage and Joan Rivers at the Venitian. The shows aren't too late so you can still catch the early bird dinner special at Gold Coast or The Riviera and still make it to bed in time...  
In the next day or two I'll see what's going on that week (the above is happening) and post an addendum to the Vegas for Locals post I did last year. One new hipster joint is The Cosmopolitan at the entrance to City Center. Stiff drinks, hip atmosphere. Many of the other clubs in town have changed names/operators so the map is mixed up a bit.

I'll be showing up to race with my mommy-van + homemade Harbor Freight trailer to duke it out with the fastest S4 drivers from around the world!!!
And no, Tom Jensen, clowns won't be hiding under the kart cover... at least this year!!!

Rod Stewart is in Celine's theater that night. It's almost like seeing her...
I think the places you boys want to go are now open down off Russell and the 15. Larry has a big three story place down there and the guys at one of the other clubs took the name of an infamous establishment and added III to it instead of II like it was when it was over on Industrial. It's got the vibe of what II had. The Feds seized II a few years back for a few reasons and wanted to run the shoe show and the drinking establishment. city and county said no. What could go wrong with the FBI and IRS running an establishment like that....
