hey guys, thought i would share some photos of the Honda cr 250 engine mount i built, all the brackets were cut on a cnc water jet, just need to finish the welding. The engine mount is steel, 32 by 92, this mount will work on almost any Italian 125 shifter kart, as well as the 250 Superkart i am building.

Thanks for the kind words Benn,
I had a good buddy water jets those parts, i probably owe him a beer or two.

Where did you get those water jet parts done?
You'll need to turn some of your mount bolts around - the ones by the sprocket and the shifter.
Plus make sure the shifter will clear the frame.
But it's still nice! |

Glad to hear Jeff, I think you got your money out of those Honda's! We certainly miss the sport, but who know's, I have a 6 year old now, and she is a barn burner; I think she will make a great little driver.
We might be moving to the Charlotte area in the next 18 months, and there is lot's of karting and circle tracking going on over there, so it is not out of the realm.
Hope all is well, kind regards.

The offer of help with the chassis still stands Alan. I found out that building a chassis is a lot of work, but it is a much bigger challenge to get one to work on the track. I failed the first time around, and hit it on the second; you just don't know until after it's all built.
