For those of you who were at the August Putnam enduro event, I have some not-so-good news concerning the impending article for National Kart News and The Inside Track.
I deeply apologize that my tape recorder failed during the first race on Saturday, and did not fully record the interviews which I held on both Saturday and Sunday (oh, it recorded the passing karts, but it did not pick up much in the way of vocals). As such, those interviews are forever lost and cannot be retrieved. Yes, I tried the ole switcheroo of the recorders and borrowed by sisters identical make and model, but the interviews are still lost. Please accept my apology, all of you with whom I interviewed.
And, yes, I will be at Gingerman, so I guess that I will take my lumps there!  |
