| I know the IKF has added clones to their sprint racing program, but what about road racing? Anyone know if they plan to add that? I have sold all of my karts except for my clone and would like to road race it some this year. |

At this point, clones are not a national class with IKF. They have adopted a set of engine rules. From there, programs will have to apply and get approval to run as clones as an option class. This applies to both sprint and road race.
As the Region 11 Road Race Coordinator, I will likely request a local option class for clones, the rules would be sprint chassis per Section 306, which relies heavily on the standard sprint chassis rules, and then the engine rules per the clone rules adopted. Then, I would look at the rules to see if there are any restrictions on gears/clutch, fuel tanks, that may need to be opened/altered or something to allow for road race adaptations, if any. We would run this class at the same time as our Briggs WF/Animal, F200, etc classes run, 30 minute race.

| The box stock rules mirror AKRA. The Builder prepared are MUCH different. The BP rules in AKRA are better IMO. |
