Hi everyone,

having managed to fix the last misfiring problem, which seems to have been sorted by a change of spark plugs, another appeared, the radiator seems to be pushing alot of coolant into the overflow bottle,
thus emptying the radiator,
any reason for this?? i thought it might be a problem with the radiator cap not sealing properly??

any other ideas??

Thanks again

Simon

From past experience:
Air not bled from the water pump causing the engine to run hot and warping the head which will cause a compression leak into the water jacket over pressurizing the radiator cap causing it to leak into the overflow.

One other thing, if the water lines were installed improperly everything above will happen even if you bled the water pump.

The head will have to be flat plated and a new head gasket installed.

DO NOT TAKE OFF THE HEAD WITHOUT SECURING THE LOWER CASE FROM UNSEALING OR THE ENTIRE ENGINE WILL HAVE TO BE DISASSEMBLED$$$

If you do not want to do this yourself our shop is the most experienced with Bilands and we have the parts.
