Don't forget round 4 of the Dunlop Mid States Series at Grattan July 27-29. Saturday night will feature a BBQ presented by the track and Kids Games presented by Michigan Kart Club. |

Try the club's web site, www.michkartclub.org. It should be under the DMSS area. Hope that helps you although Dave will probably post the information later.

| Why are some of the classes seperated? Like the normal Enduro SSX Can Class is seperate from the DMSS Enduro SSX Can Class. What's the difference? |

| The problem is weight differences. We, DMSS, have one weight for both days and they, WKC, have lite and heavy. Plus they, WKC, are running for WKA regional points in most of the classes so changing the weights around wasn't going to work. We are going to work on it next year. |

| To: David Cole, and others hosting Grattan Race. WOW! you people are wonderful, our group could not have had a better time at your facility. The track, food, but mostly the people made for a memorable weekend!!!! And David, make sure your dad reads this, what a good family you have, this is what karting was meant to be. We will have a bigger group next time, that is for sure. Thanks Again. |

Hey Doug, obviously you didn't meet Dave's uncles...Daryl 'n Daryl. (just kidding, Dave!)
Next time, better introduce yourself, Doug! I'm not hard to find! GOing to be at Gingerman for the DMSS race?
Hey, Dave, Scot mention I got him in the face witha pie he was holding on to? It was intended for you...you owe me one! |

Watching the sack races was great. But who was it that made the "cheating" sacks that allowed the user to put one of their feet outside the sack? Jonnie West's "Simone Says" was a hoot, my belly was hurting. Simone said to "clear the area" when the shaving cream came out.

| We are going to make every effort to make Gingerman. And I do want to meet you Charlie, but not with a shaving cream pie! Was it just us, or during the games announcing did Johnny West sound exactly like Joe Pesci(okay, okay, okay)guess I just watch lethal weapon too much. we set up our lawn chairs at the bottom of the hill just to watch all of that, he was GREAT!!! And so were all the kids... |

| It's too bad that MKC doesn't run this track more than twice a year. It's always such a blast!!! |

Doug, it was great to meet you and your family also. I look forward to meeting the rest of the gang at Gingerman.
Charlie, Scott came down and got me with the left overs but thanks.
Dan, I don't know who broke the sack but Lisa Taylor bought the shaving cream.
Johnny West is one of our great members that does a lot, especially the Kids Games. We have been toying with having Adult Simon Says but we don't know yet.
Scott, the updated points will be up in at least two weeks. I will post something here at Ekartingnews.
In all, the weekend was a good and safe one with the exception of Randy Beverage who hit the front straight gardrail at about 70-90mph avoiding a slowing kart. He went on the race the same kart later that day, though he was sore the next day.
Any suggestions for Gingerman?
