Hope someone from the WKA committee can clarify this.

Was reading a piece in the NKN INside track section regarding the NAKC. Started talking about a 3 hr enduro race to be run on the road race course. Hey, sounded great.....until I read the comment about a significant purse if someone wins both the Raptor race and teh enduro race. WHAT??????
Wait a second, this must be for Briggs only!?!?

Said the 3 hr enduro would take place on Sunday.

Now I recall in the past the enduro event getting races shortened and track time taken away to accomadate Raptor practice, qualifying, and the race on Friday and Saturday. Now they are also going to take a 3 hr chunk out of Sunday so the Briggs sprinters can run out there on teh highspeed banks of the road race course??

Isn't this suppossed to be the enduro GRand Nationals this weekend also?? If somebody knows what is going on with thi9s, please expalin, as it sounds to be like the real road racers are being told to grab their ankles and smile!!!!

Don't forget that usually only the enduro classes have an entry fee!!! Not only do the briggs run for free, but they are running for money!

the 3 hour Briggs race is being held on the sprint track and not the big track...won't bother the enduros. Hope this clears it up for you..

Thanks, Greg. THe article, even the quote from Kugler, refers to he "road" course! Well to me the "road" course is that big long one that goes out onto the oval. Up in the infield in NASCAR turns 3/4 is what I would refer to as the sprint track.

Be assured that the Road Racers will not be cheated on time at NAKC. We will get our time and races while the other show does it's thing on the Sprint Road Course. Sorry for the confusion...How have you been?
