Jacksonville is 50% speed down the backstretch 30% drafting savvy, and 20% handling. If you there is something that will add MPH in a straight line, this is the place to take advantage of it. Chassis is a distant consideration for that course.

This is some funny stuff right here Laughing

I guess you just put the pedal down and run fast down the straight?

Steve, with your scenario anyone could show up with a good motor, a great body, and ANY kart and win. I can tell you that is NOT the case. Jacksonville has had the bad rap of being not a "drivers track". But for some reason, the guys that are fast at any other track in the country, are fast also at Jacksonville. Maybe it's because they know how to tune and drive a kart anywhere??

If your kart is junk or you can't drive, you are NOT going to win races at Jacksonville, that's a proven fact.

NOW, with that said.... I dare anyone to show me back to back test where running with a full body then taking the nose off and running back to back same setup there is more than .2 laptime difference. Note, I said with NO NOSE which is worse case scenario.

The laydown seats have more to do with lowering the center of gravity and cornering faster than they do with aerodynamics.

Been there, done that, about 12 years running Jacksonville and testing about everything known to be tested..... Wink
