The subject covers the what I need to know.

Our median temp during the winter is around 45-50 degrees. Unfortunately lots of rain in the winter.

Toughest thing is getting enough heat into the engine. You will want to try and run between 320 and 360deg so tape up the flywheel cover. Don't worry too much though if you can only get it to 250 deg cht, cold air makes more power than warm since it's denser. You can run a hotter plug but be careful leaning it out too much, you do need fuel to make power. Other than that make sure your fuel is fresh, store it in a metal can and try to keep the temperature variations to a minimum as condensation can be a problem.

Rain is the best tool for developing race drivers. I suspect that's why so many great drivers come from England Laughing

Cheers,
