Can a racer from 2010 in this class, please direct me to the rules that were used for the class and motor tech? I am assuming they are from WKA since it is a WKA divisional series. What is the specific name they WKA calls the class and engine in the rule book?
Thanks in advance.

If they are using WKA rules.
WKA calls it "International OHV" the rules were added after the 2010 rule book came out, you might be able to find the rules on the website. I have a feeling they will change in a few areas, and I keep hearing about a change on the muffler rule but have not seen it yet _________________ Rich Eisgruber

For now the rules are in the WKA Tech Updates on the WKA website. _________________ Jamie Webb

Rich thank you for your responce.
Jamie,
Are these the same rules that 103 street is running in the local series, and the money race? I am curious if the chassis rules are under the Gold Cup or the Man Cup sprint? I quess my dumb questions wouldn't be asked if WKA would accurately cover these bases. I will make a better effort to curb the sarcasm. I would bet I am not the first to ask these questions.
Is "International OHV" and "Box Stock Project" synonymous? I may not have spelled that right.
Thank you Jamie for earnest direction. |

Robert,
We (FKCS) are anticipating that we'll have WKA rules for Clone / Box Stock for 2011 considering they will be points transfer classes to the Gold Cup (see recent WKA announcement in the pit board section of their website).
Also Box Stock will be championship points classes for next year in FKCS providing we have enough drivers. Senior had good turn outs but the lower level classes only had a few drivers. I'm hoping participation continues to grow and my son will be racing in Jr-1 or more likely Jr-2 for Box Stock...I think we have 3-5 other drivers who are serious about running in those classes for 2011.
If you have specific questions about our Box Stock / Clone program, you can contact our 4-Cycle Director, Brian Slentz at superlatemodel53@aol.com

Todd,
Thank you for that info. Will the box stock class be open tire rule?

I believe it will continue to be open tire rule for our series. Even if this is a transfer points class we can run open tires in FKCS. We are trying to keep the class affordable but open tires may be counter intuitive to that concept....we'll see how it goes and how the racers feel about the open tire rule.
