I think a lot of clone racers were flathead racers at some point and had those so called $300 dollar clutches on the shelf already paid for. Now if I go ahead and use what I already have, that is cheaper than having to buy a new one even if it is only $60 bucks. I think they are allowing the disk clutches since there is no advantage with low HP engines AND some people had them already. Why not use what you have in the garage in a "budget" class.

so you wont mind if someone turns up with a special race preped Tilly, a DLC coated piston, or a "Special" cam installed in their clone ....just because they had them lying around doing nothing..??

Enjoy it guys whilst you can, because it wont last long before its all screwed up like so many other classes.
