|
|
Hi,
Got a clone on a BMI 15deg. Is there an easy way to know how much oil to add? I could tilt the kart so engine is level - but not sure if the stock/level amount is actually right for an engine sitting at 15degs!
Thanks,
Mike. _________________ GP8 CRF250R shifter

Mike , just put in 16 Oz. Don't use the "dipstick" as a guide. _________________ I breathe ,therefore,I race |

| Mike, I have been experimenting with oil levels with the same application as yours. We went from 16oz to 14oz to 12oz. Haven't blown the motor up yet. With the 15 degree mount the oil gets shoved forward in the case leaving plenty of oil for the crank dipper to splash around with less drag. But again at $125 a pop for the motor I will push at limitations. No guarentees. |
