Bill, you know it's not nice to make fun of poor old people and their problems. You should be ashamed.

I'm just about to give up on this site. Had to log in 3 times to write this. I don't know what is going on. It didn't use to happen at all and it happens on no other site.
Oh well, I guess most people won't miss me.

Wally, if your on dial-up, that could be the problem. It could also be the computer your using, or the internet provider you are using as well.
Certainly we don't want you to go away, however, this type of problem can not be fixed on our end.
Are you checking the box that says to keep you logged in?
If you are, try to keep that unchecked. This way, you will have to log in each time you come to the site. Then hopefully you will not get logged off. _________________ David Cole

Thanks, David. I do log in each visit and logout when I am done, but I usually don't need to log out because I get logged out all the time anyway.
I'm trying to get some other internet service but, so far, none is avaliable in this burg I live in.
Thanks again,

wally ; I have DSL and was continually having the problem of getting logged off. I had my computer hacked this week. I want to publicly thank David for helping me get straightened out . I ended up switching from hotmail to Gmail I know they have different filtering systems ,NOT that it makes any difference but I have NOT gotten logged off yet. _________________ Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out, shouting, "Holy **** what a ride!!!". |

Everything worked as it should the last 3 times on this site. Maybe whatever the problem was, it healed itself, I hope.

OK, David, I guess it was my computer. I had a geek come over and work on it for awhile about a month ago. Now EKN works as it should.
Just FYI.

Told you so... Glad to hear you have things worked out. Remember, computers are like 250cc engines, you just have to have patience. _________________ David Cole

I'll take a 250 any day. At least I kind of know what I'm doing. IMO, there is no way a computer can work.
