SKUSA Pro Tour - SpringNationals Discussion

This weekend will mark the beginning of the new Superkarts! USA Pro Tour. The organization is set to host the first round - SKUSA SpringNationals - at the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California. The race will be the first double header weekend with another coming in July and the series to wrap up at the famed SKUSA SuperNationals XIV in Las Vegas.

eKartingNews.com will be Trackside for the event, beginning with a Preview set to be published Thursday. Track action begins Friday with a full day of practice and a taping of another EKN Podcast. Racing begins Saturday and continues through Sunday. EKN will be posting updates here as the weekend progresses, including the results of each official on-track session. Also on tap this weekend will be live audio coverage thru the EKN LIVE page. Work is currently being done to update the page and get things set to go LIVE Thursday from the Welcome Party at the Embassy Suites hotel. More information to come.

Extreme Motorsports is all loaded up and ready to go. We will be arriving about noon today at the track. Good luck to everyone who makes the trip and I am sure there will be alot of great racing this weekend.

That will probably be the case for the ProTour. For our ProKart races we run our own Live page.

EKN TRACKSIDE LIVE: FRIDAY MORNING WELCOME

Welcome everyone to the first day of the SKUSA SpringNationals at Infineon Raceway. Practice is underway here as they are now into the second round of sessions. The transponders will be mandatory for rounds 5 and 6. We will have the top-10 for each class during those rounds.

Also, we will have the Welcome Party recording up in the On-Demand section of the www.eKartingNews.com/live page in just a few moments.

TaG Junior
S2 (Semi-Pro Stock Moto)
S4 (Masters Stock Moto)
S5 (Junior Stock Moto)
G1
TaG Senior/TaG Masters
TaG Cadet
S1 (Pro Stock Moto)

Entry totals are at 102 by the last count with a few more signing up this morning. Drivers are getting accustom to the reverse national course.
