|
Welcome one and all to the third installment of the 2010 F1 Podium Picker Challenge Presented by EKartingNews for the Malaysian Grand Prix. Last year rain was a major factor in Malaysia and helped get the Toyota of Jarno Trulli onto the podium. The current weather forecast is for scattered thunderstorms consistently for the next ten days.
Picks have to be in by 1am PDT Saturday morning - Friday night...
Will continue to update this post with picks, points, etc. as things develop.
Here's the picks as of 11:50PDT - y'all have about another hour to pick if you want to...
mine: vettel, hamilton, webber
Final Edit: Here's the points - congrats to Vettel and RedBull for the win! Also to Rosberg for delivering the results that Schumi couldn't...
Even more Final Edit: Corrected Matt McCauley's points - sorry I missed them, mate. I type everyone's picks into my spreadsheet each week and sometimes I miss something. At least I've got formulas for the points now and that's not getting screwed up as badly.
FWIW - congrats to Matt for getting two correct picks this week, most points of anybody! Nice work...

come on Matt ! ... look at Melbourne practice, that showed nothing.
Teams pull all sorts of stunts to disguise their true pace, right up to final qualifying. Even that doesnt take into account "race strategy", or weather changes etc.
you could tackle it like a punter on the Gee gee's, study form etc etc, but that is taking it too seriously.
As we say down here ..."we are not playing for Sheep Stations"
Just go for it ! ...rule out the "no hoper's" , and go with your gut feelings !
Not much different to a lottery really _________________ Chad
