I have been wanting to finish my 68 L89.... 427, 435hp alum head tri power, conv. Complete restoration done. I have one #842 head that needs some help. Cant seem to find one that has early date code of OCT,NOV,DEC of 1967. All the ones to date that I have looked at have crack repairs or water jacket leaks. I know about the problems these and the #962 heads have had. Most will fail the pressure test. Still looking though. |
