IndyCar Delta Wing unveil today

One of the new proposed designs for 2012 IndyCar will be unveiled today @ the Chicago Auto Show. Should be interesting. Swift & Dallara have already shown their concepts (Lola has one, but has not released photos), but the Delta Wing is supposedly radically different.

Not sure what time the unveil is, but I'm sure it will be on Indycar.com as soon as it happens.

Seriously the ugliest purpose-built racecar I have ever seen. It looks like somebody crashed the Batmobile.

You know, back when I was a kid, I think I had a Hot Wheels diecast car that looked just like that.

I have plenty more I could say about it, but I am too busy projectile vomiting right now....

Whoa..Those designs are for the street not the race track! But pretty cool from a NON RACECAR standpoint.

I hate the look--reminds me of a "blood sucker" the little creature used to suck blood from patients to heal--and Graham Rahal likes the look? Guess that is just one more thing Graham Rahal and I disagree on.

If they go with the DeltaWing, the feeder series will be Hot Wheels, then BigWheels, and if you've got the money, the Big Green Machine League.
