Love to do the testing,but as always never enough time to
do everything I'd like to--still look forward to hearing Your

Ian, I don't why this got so out of hand, all anybody said is that the Honda couldn't keep with the Gas-Gas, nobody said anything about your tuning abilities or your multi, multi championships, and you finally even admitted it yourself.
Sorry for the banter...
Maybe you should switch from that tepid beer like swill you Brits drink to a more civlilized German born variety!!!

My Viper Racing UK Honda CR250's have raced against GasGas powered karts on numerous occassions since 2005 (first time at Oulton Park in 2005 with Peter Dearden driving). They have never been bettered by race finishing position or fastest lap time. I think that goes a little better than "keeping up".

All I have ever said over the past 2 years regarding Honda/GasGas performane v price is detailed succinctly in the 2 paragraphs below. This is just "old news" as far as I'm concerned. Just look back over the various posts. I really don't kmow what you are trying to get at.
The GasGas is a fantastic purpose built 6-speed race engine with a good peak power and spread of power, good reliabitlity and acceptable service intervals. It is relatively expensive to purchase run and maintain. Major parts are many times more expensive than Honda parts and as with any highly stressed race engine expensive failures will happen from time-to-time.
The Honda CR250 crankcase induction engine is a relatively inexpensive 5-speed engine originally designed for motocross. This can be converted for use in a Superkart to give a good peak power (say 6-7% less than the GasGas) and an equally good spread of power. If modified correctly it is very reliable and is relatively inexpensive to run and maintain. Major parts are similarly inexpensive and as with any highly stressed modified production engine failures will happen, but repair costs are low.
What I'm saying is you pays your money and takes your choice. A lot more competitors can afford a Honda than a GasGas and good entertaining racing depends (to an extent) on good grid sizes. As the saying goes "horses for courses"
So I'm right in thinking that we'll see you at Miller next year on a GasGas powered machine? Andy, JR and Jayce better watch out I'm sure

I'm not quite sure what that has to do with racing, but to answer you on this subject for a second time
My favoured tipple is Draught Guinness (Brewed in Dublin) which (like Germany) is in a whole different country to Britain. I drink it chilled to 2 degrees C. Any of that ringing a bell with you from the last time you asked - - -yawn

Come on Ian you know better than that, Il give you a hint Where is mondello park you must have raced there. pub"s on every corner its slitly south of belfast the town's name begins with a D and the bigest clue Guinness comes from there
And you can start all the seriouse threads you want but you cant beleve they will stay serious???
And the only reason your Honda's where as good as the gas gas was them driver's did not have me and Brian working on them ( driver's are over rated any body can drive ) it takes a good mech to make them finnish
