The countdown display now shows only seven days before karts hit the temporary circuit outside the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino for the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals. The November 18-22 event has certainly gained a lot of attention over the past two days and with over 400 entries received, the event is shaping up to be the biggest yet.

EKN will be publishing a preview of all nine classes, including the provisional entry lists, leading up to the opening day. This thread will be the location for anyone to post comments now and through the event, along with following trackside updates during the five days of action.

See you in Vegas.

All your news regarding the SuperNationals will be published in the Event Page: http://www.ekartingnews.com/news_info.php?n=13849

If anyone is onsite and would be willing to post daily pictures of how the track and paddock are taking shape, I think the forum would love to see the race venue materialize before our eyes.

I had some last year, may do it again this year. The lot hasn't been used except for parking during the World Series of Poker. There are a couple of diesel pushers and trailers in the upper lot but those could be left over from SEMA or for the big IMCA dirt mod race at LVMS this weekend.

Doug,

I can definitely provide this. I will be arriving in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon and will take the first shot on Sunday morning. I'll take a few shots each day and will put together an animated GIFS to post up in this thread and on the EKN Trackside Live event page.

For those of us (that are not racing) arriving for just the weekend without pit passes in hand, do you expect any availability issues?

Hello Jorge,

I believe you meant event passes. Event passes will be available at the registration desk throughout the weekend (Wed thru Sun) and I'm not aware of any availability issues unless it gets so crazy that there becomes a fire marshall safety issue with too many people...

Since there is no iPhone app that allows mobile uploads to forum threads I have an idea....

Tom Kutcher needs to create a "fan" page on Facebook for the SuperNationals. From there he can designate any Facebook user he wants as an admin and those admin's can easily do iPhone picture updates. I know I would post a bunch of pictures if I had access.

Anyone that wants to follow the SuperNats would simply add this "Fan Page" and they could view uploads from anyone with permission to do so. I think it would add a whole new up-and-close view of the event.

Tom? I'll create one if you don't want to....
