This weekend will begin the Western Division schedule for the Snap-on Stars of Karting series with the opener set for Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California. The popular and fast Jim Russell International Karting Center circuit makes its return to the Stars schedule after being abscent for two years.
eKartingNews.com will have complete coverage of the event with more details to be released in the next three days leading up to the action Friday afternoon when Qualifying begins.

Hey folks,
David Cole and I are getting things set up here at the Jim Russell International Karting Center, as practice is continuing on the racetrack. We'll be streaming my PA call of the qualifying sessions this afternoon, with some static video as well, as we are continuing to play with this new technology. I'm expecting some pretty good racing this weekend, despite the low kart counts, and qualifying should be pretty cool.

Thanks Matt. I think we're just going to go with the static cams during the qualifying session so that we can continue testing, doing a little research on the delay times etc. At the very least, you'll get my audio call of the qualifying sessions. The PA system has some pretty bad static in the background, so we may end up buying a new mixer/amplifier tonight.
