The new On the Road segment takes a look at one of the busiest persons in the industry, Mike Maurini. Many of you know him for his position with FirstKart.com race team and with the Shifter Kart Illustrated before that. Now, Maurini currently created his own business, Race Tech Development, working as a wrench across the country along with other facets of the industry, including press release work for Stars of Karting and a select list of drivers.
To follow his first two days of a week in the life of Mike Maurini, click http://www.ekartingnews.com/news_info.php?n=11862
Each day will have a new entry from Mike and they will be placed in the Diary Page, to be created soon.
Leave any comments to Mike here and he'll reply back to you when not at the track or on a plane _________________ David Cole

Mike Maurini - I've never heard the name before but now I understand that this guy is a robot! Mike keep doing the damn thang and your writing is very inviting to new kart like myself.
Thanks for posting the information regarding the kart changes, I might have to purchasea First Kart just for the Factory Support via email from Mike.
Thanks Ekartingnews - Great Read on my 15 minute break. |

I really enjoyed reading your story, Mike. Loved the storage unit/house thing - we have one of those too!
I think Elena and I are living the same life - except my family isn't as good at figuring out when there's a 3 hour time difference...
Best wishes to you and all the amazing drivers that you work with. I can't wait to read even more! _________________ Kim Hindman
