Major UK kart manufacturer STRATOS recently went belly up financially resulting in the business being sold off. Reports are that the whole facility, jigs , parts, equipment, designs etc was containerised and shipped to California, presumably to start up again there as a new business. (unless someone really has got a rich daddy ? )
Any sign or word of a new chassi supplier in the West ?
Just curious !! |

There was a chassis manufacturer that showed up in the livermore area right around the same time Birel showed up. They are located near the the airport(municiple) in Livermore. One of my customers noticed cartons that showed up on the back of a semi truck. One of the maintenance guys was given a chassis that appeared to me to be welded incorrectly(unless you want to drive upside down) I blew it off as maybe a warehouse for the new Birel shop in Livermore.....but who knows! They are located near Kittyhawk dr

Stratos were not known for their quality... I live right near where they were based, wish I'd gone to their liquidation auction now!
